Has it ever happened to you that you love a sweater,a pair of shoes or whatever so much that you want to wear it at all costs?So,in a desperate research among shops,you realize that everyone has that pair of shoes,the one you really wanted.Unaccetable matches,inadmissible in all kinds of ways,by the way.So you start hating them and the passage from "I want it" to off-limits is really quick.But there are shoes and shoes.Dr.Martens are those type of shoes you can love or hate,And I'm so terribly in love with them,that despite the introduction below,I already thought about different matches.Known also as Docs and DMs,they were born being punk's cult shoes to become then a symbol of different urban subcultures,coming back in fashion different times and reconsidered like a glamour accessory. Comfortable,handy and solid with a classic design,Dr.Martens is an identification mark.

Chelsea boots for this winter

Nothing quite beats a good pair of Chelsea boots. I can't talk from experience as I don't actually own any (yet) however whenever I see people wearing them, or spot a nice pair in a glossy mag, I think to myself 'coorrrrr, that's a good style of boot right there!' I've got my eye on the Zara boots although £79 is a bit steep considering my bargainista tendencies. I'm on the look out for cheaper dupes (preferably under £40) so if you see any then please do drop me a comment!

• Jeremy Scott has kept quiet since he was accused of plaigirizing the goulish artwork for his Fall 2013 collection,. If you remember, several bloggers and skateboard enthusiasts called into question the originality of Scott’s monster designs from the collection, saying the designer basically copied the aesthetic of iconic skateboard graphic design duo, Jim and Jimbo Phillips, of Santa Cruz Skateboards. Not only has the latter Phillips expressed through his Facebook page his surprise to see the designs (“this is crazy,” he captioned the now-infamous photo of his work next to Scott’s).

 

But Robert A. Denike, CEO of Santa Cruz Skateboards, released a statement saying the use of these graphics were certainly not approved by the company, or the Phillips’. “This is not a collaboration or under license, nor did we or the Phillips family approve the use of this artwork on his apparel designs in any way,” he wrote. “It’s obvious to us, the Phillips family, the fans of Jim Phillips Sr. and Jimbo Phillips, and fans of the brand Santa Cruz Skateboards, as well as many in the global skateboard and skate art community that there is clear and obvious infringement by Mr. Scott. We are discussing this with our legal team to determine our next steps.” It’s strange that Scott would remain silent on the issue– almost seems like an admission of guilt. What do you think? Louis Vuitton's recently opened Sydney "Maison" features an intricate collection of animal sculptures, all fashioned from Louis Vuitton accessories.

The animal sculptures, created by British artist Billie Achilleos, depict a range of Australian wildlife, including a koala, a kangaroo and a crocodile.

Impressive to note - all of the Louis Vuitton product used is unaltered.
